Nope. Re-checked all the connections under the seats. Disconnected the negative battery terminal for over 30 mins and still there. Ended up paint balling on Saturday at a big event in St. Paul then had to start my work week Sunday. I'm off tomorrow so I'm dropping my truck off at Beaverton Toyota at 0830.. $120 for diagnostics -_-

Apparently my Tacoma's VIN doesn't fall under the recall. $300 for the part alone and then labor. Did a quick search after hanging up with the service guy and saw how do-able it is to do it myself. Now I cannot reach the service person to tell him I don't want work done on my truck anymore :(

@snowgod06 No kidding man! I'm curious as to how they determine which year/VIN has potential defect. Anyhow, SRS light is off and cruise control is working.

Hey Joe and Mike! I too have been absent from the offroading stuff. Summers have been spent coaching my boys baseball teams. He is now a freshman in High School, so no more volunteerism!

I am working in Milwaukie now, as opposed to Tigard. We should definitely get together for lunch some afternoon!

Mike, I saw you Saturday passing opposite direction at 26 near the zoo. Looking forward to TSF.

Aaanndd the light came back on less than 24hrs later on my way home from work yesterday.

Milwaukee from where you're at? Traffic paradise!! What's your schedule? Or I should ask what days do you have off? :D

The fact your light came back on...means the part they fixed was probably okay. So if you go back, fight for free diagnostics and low cost parts/labor on what they repaired or may repair in the future.

Ha, I was towing a trailer, right? That was me coming back from a total fail run to Jones Creek. I was going to ride the motorcycle there on some trails but totally forgot my boots. I was so burnt out from both that and dicking with the stupid mounting setup I have for a trailer that I wasn't paying attention to anything but getting home

Yeah, paradise is what I call it. I am M-F. I work from 7-4 so I can miss some of the traffic. It is a long commute but a good job, pays well, and they do not have an issue with my hours. As I am one dude in charge of all compute services, there is alot of weekend work but they are really good about making sure I get my time off.

Somehow just found this thread after a year on tw and thought I would introduce myself. I live in Bend, OR and have a semi-built first gen tundra with a flippac. Will be picking up my front bumper tomorrow and shortly after will be doing a high clearance rear with a tire swing.

I hope they wouldn't have to diagnose it again seeing as they ran the code last week. One thing that also came up is a code for passenger seatbelt tensioner? I tried doing a search and found nothing.

I miss traffic for the most part too. Perks of working 12 hour shifts man. Wake up early, leave late.

I'll see what I have going on next Saturday. If I'm off - lets do lunch!

Hey guys! My wife and I live in Vancouver, BC. We are headed south tomorrow until Wednesday and wanted to camp and explore oregon/washington! Don't have much ideas of what's good. Any suggestions? I'll gladly trade some cool BC locations via PM too! :canada:

I did some successful dirtbiking yesterday at TSF! :humble:
I've been out on some 4x4 trails and access roads, but never on quad trails or something with a rating.
We intended to do Browns Powerline (#6) and take an assessment of if we wanted to try harder, but we managed to somehow get on Roger's Camp Road (#1) because the map doesn't match what's really out there. We thought it was kind of rough for a green trail! Since we were already on a blue, we decided to just keep at it. We finished Roger's going counterclockwise, then K Thumb (#51), then finished with Elliot Creek (#25) before returning to camp via University Falls Rd.
There was some sketchy manuvers I had to do on some turns, but I didn't fall at all, so I think that's a pretty big success!

Hey guys, I'm traveling across the country in my 3rd gen 4Runner, I started in Alabama and am currently in Seattle. Are there any beaches in Oregon that you can drive/camp on like Pismo in California? I plan to drive along the coast in a few days. Thanks for any suggestions!
