Any of you good dudes have recommendations for some must do bars, clubs, restaurants in Southern Oregon (Medford/Grants Pass), please drop some knowledge. I'll be going back for a third time, but this time, it'll just be the gf and I, no other family. Gonna be in town this May and want to start my must visit list.

    Thanks!

Bit of a storm today. Had trees across I5, tree fell infront of the semi I was behind. Thankfully for me (sucks for him), he was able to clear most of it off the road with his bumper. About half of Roseburg was without power. One of the big *** trees at the VA got pushed over. Didnt break, pulled the roots out of the ground.

Blowing like hell up in Lake Stevens right now. Luckily after 6 months of dealing with government bureaucracy the dead alders leaning towards my house from the property next door got taken down on Wednesday.

Anything I need to know about scope rings or is it a straightforward kind of thing to buy?

What size tube (1" or 30mm, or you can get one that can work with either via spacer)? What size objective (determins height)? Do you want one piece (PEPR) or two separate rings? Rail size?

Leupold VX-3 4.5x50mm 66295 mating up to a standard AR15 top rail (no handle, picatinny). I was going to buy a bolt action 308 but got lazy. I inherited a Springfield 1903, but it's a total beater.
    Specs on scope

50mm objective should require you to get high enough rings to make it comfortable on an AR IMHO. I have a friend with a scope on an AR and it's too low for my liking. I have to cock my head sideways to see through it. Looks like a nice scope.

50mm will need high rings. Depending on what you have up front, you might be able to get away with Burris PEPR style mount, I think they are 1" from ring bed to rail top. So, if you have a low profile foreend, you might be able to have the objective slightly lower than the rail on the upper. But, if you have a full rail or flush tube, that wouldnt work.

Edit: I think that scope tube is 30mm. Correct me if I am wrong.

And you should get, or plan to get a 308. That way, you can buy the 500 rounds of 308 I am trying to get rid of.

Yeah the tracks are a lot of fun. Go pretty much wherever you want. They do have their limits though.

The sold axles have been on for a while now. 42s for wheelin and tracks for snow. Rock jock 60s front and rear. 3 linked front and rear. Crawl box. Threw a supercharger on there as well.
