Hey everyone, I’m wanting to buy an extended warranty for my Tacoma. Went to my local dealer and they gave me a $1875 price for a 6 yr/100k warranty. Looking to see if any fellow Oregonians got a good deal and where at because paying close to 2k doesn’t seem like a very good deal.

I paid $500 for mine, on top of certified pre owned. Doxon in Auburn, Wa for reference.

 

Can I buy it out state? Or am I restricted to buy it in the state my truck was purchased in?

 

I bought the Toyota Platinum 10yr/125k extended bumper to bumper from Ron Tonkin for $1500.

 

Mine was the 10yr/100k for 1300 and I feel I could of gotten it for less.

 

Just called them, they quoted me at $1095 for a 6 yr/100k. That sounds a lot bette than what they gave me here. Thanks man!

 

Offer them $800 for it. Reading on here, seems like a lot of people have gotten it for $800

 

No clue. I had a brother in law that worked at TOY of Portland and he helped me out. But it’s been a few years..

 

I swear I read a thread about a dealer on the east coast that would beat any dealer in the US on extended warranty prices. Maybe not anymore. Valid at all TMC NA dealerships.

 

Yeah, anything over a certain $ figure and it’s just cash on top is what my BIL told me, that’s why he suggested I don’t pay more than $500 or whatever it was at the time.

 

I guess it doesn’t hurt to try, I’ll give them a call tomorrow. I appreciate the help though, if I can get it for $800 I’ll be saving $1000 compared to if I bought it at my local dealer.

 

Anyone else have any good dealers in Oregon or Washington that can beat a price of $1095?

Everything I was supposed to get done on my truck this past weekend didn’t get accomplished so I’ll need this coming weekend to finish up. I appreciate the offer tho!

Did you order new uniballs yet? I hear you spend too much of your work day surfing unimportant data caches. What are the odds you've found the cheapest place to get a set? Or 2 in my case, uca and lca..... I need new mis-allignment spacers too. The last time I redid uniballs they where a CS'r to separate from the old uniballs and I doubt they'll make it through another rebuild.
