I have no idea what it is. Has little 4 or 5 lugs wheels on it. Its been buried for a long time. The axle is completely rusted through. It was a complete frame and set of axles until the sub-soiler drug it out of the ground haha

No joke. Looking at a lot of used diesel prices it almost looks better to buy new though. The used prices just aren't low enough to take on the risk of buying something someone has had a chance to beat on and not maintain and be out it's warranty period.

DEC/ JANUARY is the time to shop. I bought my Ram on Jan 5th and got like 5k plus off.
Lithia of Eugene had the best prices on Rams 4 years ago.

Exactly. So many people hot rod them around which really hurts the engines.

It depends a lot on how they are modded. Our LMM with EFI live tuning is more reliable than stock, 480hp and almost 1000ft pounds of torque, but it's tuned right and doesn't smoke ever. The stock trans has been upgraded and the only issue I've had in 8 years is last week a glow plug went out. I just drove to Utah and back and had the cruise set at over 80mph average, hauling a bunch of shit in the bed and still got over 17mpg average fuel economy. Some places it got down to 16, some up to 20. I would not be scared to buy used, if it was built right.

The problem with new ones is the cost to unfuck them is several thousand dollars. Find something pre-2008 with the right mods, test drive and ask for maintenance documentation and enjoy your new to you oil burner.

What?? So jealous. And you're running 37's. Per tank I average about 17.5 right now empty, towing anything and it goes down. Do you have any kind of tuner (I.e H&S, banks, blanking on the other names..) or just the EFI live? Once I buy my dads 2011 Powerstroke off him I'm going to tune and delete it. Haven't had any problems with it yet..

Efi live with dsp5 tuned by idahorob from ATP trucks in Boise. He's the best in the business for no smoke clean tunes, and great customer service.

Spotted this truck here on Guam today. Saw a few others with Oregon Ducks stickers.

Finally got Dad out for a ride together this weekend. We did a loop from his place near Aumsville, down to Jordan, over to Lyons, and then back home. He's been talking about getting rid of his motorcycle for half a year now, but after Sunday's ride, he's said, "Wow, I really feel the bike fits right finally, and I think I will keep it." This is the first time he hasn't used it as a commuting vehicle up an down I-5. Coincidence?

... and oh baby, I would like to see one of these in my garage

Signed my life away on a 12 year loan yesterday to get this new toy for my truck.
New job starts Monday next week. I am now trying to rush everything to get it all done and ready for wifey to be home alone for basically the next 3 months.
