Do you guys go through CV boots quickly? I replaced my passenger side in December and noticed another tear in it, just 9k miles later.

Are you lifted? Have you done the boot scoot n' boogie? I mean boot slide mod?

Not lifted, all stock down there. No boot slide mod. Hopefully I don't need to 'mod' this oem setup.

No just the Tacoma. I'm headed to Idaho memorial day weekend so it needs to be out of my garage within the next week so I can give it a shake down before I drive 600+ miles round trip with it. Then it's time for the Lexus to get some attention. Moving up the priority list is new/better coilovers. Maxpeedingrods are shot. Every bump I hit my ass comes off the seat and the bushings are junk, they're already wore out too.

    Sadly, not much.
I live in Seattle, and am absolutely going stir crazy. I need to go on a forest service road drive. Maybe overnight, but maybe just for the day. I am not set up to "off-road", but need some nature to get some perspective.

ASK - where can I find some decent FS roads that 1) aren't closed; 2) aren't snowed in; and 3) i can get to and back home in about 6-8 hours? A view would be nice too...

    Any tips?

Is there a thread dedicated to sceneries (cities/towns/outdoors) pictures from Oregon and Washington areas?
