Mike, you ever head east out of Portland? I'm just off the 84 in Boardman in case you are looking to meet up, but mailing it is probably cheaper.

I would think that any machine shop might just give you such small pieces if you asked nicely. That small is typically garbage sized. I occasionally come across unistrut, but it is closer to 1/8" walls and is galv as well, so probably not what you would want.

Boardman is about 3 hours away. I really only get out that way for vacation, and usually more towards Bend/John Day

Are the coils already mounted? If so then it's a really easy job, the front end is doable in about 1.5hrs. Hit nuts and bolts w/ PB Blaster the night prior to make things easier. I'd offer to help at the mod day but I'll be at the coast.

Anyhow, an update on my leaky Taco.

Had some time to get in there and look around some more. Pulled carpet a little higher and noticed that two panels came apart, looks like the stuff they use to seal them together gave way and thats where water in entering. Called a body shop and said JB Weld would seal it up so I cleaned it up, sanded, degreased, and slapped on a good helping of that and now its curing. Hopefully this is the fix I need but I'm still wondering if water normally travels between those body panels:confused:

Do you have any aftermarket wiring coming into the cab. If so where does it enter

The only aftermarket wiring I have is for my Hellas but that wire was ran through an already existing entry on the opposite side of the truck.

Yea I hope it fixed it too! I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to let it sit out if it rains to see if it's good to go. It's pretty cool up here and been seeing a lot of stuff. Been missing the ocean so I am heading to Lincoln City to breathe in some salty air.

You'll see me around Goose Hollow /Division/Waterfront area or just around here in Beaverton. I wave to every taco I see, haha.

tcBob traveling to meet locals from other chapters? Sweeet!! TW swag for everyone!

Hope it's good to go man. Ah, I don't travel to Portland much haha I avoid it like a plague! I'miss mainly around the Cedar Hills area. Cool man. Good to hear you guys are enjoying it up here. Not sure if you guys ski or snowboard but been getting snow up in Hood so hopefully it'll be a good boarding season.

That's 10 minutes from my parents. If you like German food, head up to Mt. Angel

Hello everyone. I will be making my way up to Seattle and I plan on giving myself a few days to check things out on the way up. Any suggestions on things I need to see or do would be great as well as good spots to eat.

I hope so too. I rained a bit saturday night and I checked it sunday morning before heading out to the coast and no water made it into the cab so that made my sunday better. Although I waiting for heavy rain for a true test. I'm around the Cedar Hills area a bunch too but we are mostly always in her car since its saves way more gas and is easier to park if we decide to go downtown.

Cant wait to hit the slopes, had my brother bring up my snowboard on his last visit up here, lol.

Yea I've had some of those already.
Thats a beautiful place. How many falls did you see?
Snapped a pic of North Falls last month.

I don't let it get to me because I'm not always able to see people in their cabs due to tints or the amount of light.

    New rims going on!
Kind of interesting, I was watching them do the changeover here at discount tire and they use the same torque wrench as me
