    I have a 2017 SCSB TRD OR
I am at 38k miles and lately I have gotten some shaking when braking at speed coming down the mountains. This leads me to think that maybe my rotors are warped. I read through the below thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/brake-upgrade-stoptech-rotors-trd-performance-pads.523829/
Anyone local have any experience with this setup?
Any good Youtube Links on replacing pads/rotors and upgrading to SS brake lines?
Likely to do this at Gearhead or locally . Beer and food would be supplied for some assistance!

I have my winch, bunch of wiring harnesses/switches and spindle gussets that have been waiting to go on for like a year now lol. Focused on buttoning up the front of my fender trimming for my 35s and then gotta do the rear, blah.

Did you recently brake hard and often? You could have deposits which will fall off/wear off after time. Whenever I did a track day with my previous car, the brakes would shake a bit for day or so until the deposits wore off.

Unfortunately I first noticed in August during a long decent down Teton Pass into Jackson. Been a little shaky since then but becoming more frequently noticed now.

    Anyone feel the earthquake?
About 12:10 (15 min ago), I was sitting in my trailer and started feeling it shake. Enough that I looked outside through the windows and my security cameras to make sure one of the guys wasn't trying to fuck with me. Wasn't wind either, my contractors ribbon wind indicator was hanging straight down.

Long time lurker and first time poster in this great thread. I'm in my early 20s and currently live in Bozeman, Montana, but am looking to move elsewhere potentially. The PNW has always been at the top of my list. As far as am I'm concerned, it has the mountains and elevation that Montana has but far more variety in landscapes and outdoor fun.
Anyway, my girlfriend has suggested Seattle, but I think that's way too big for me. I can't do a city that gigantic (I'm originally from a small Minnesotan town of 1,300). Would anyone be willing to recommend smaller areas near Seattle or other "towns" in western Oregon or Washington? I know a lot of folks like keeping their hidden gem hometowns secret, which I totally understand. But if you'd be willing to share, heck even in a PM, I'd really appreciate it.
Edit-- I graduated with my teaching degree last spring but recently got into marketing and I've been doing photography for the past seven years. She just graduated with her psychology degree.
    Thanks fellow Toyota enthusiasts!

Bozeman is awful now, I can see why you want to move. I'm driving there on wednesday for family Christmas. Califronia has also discovered small towns in Oregon/WA. good luck

I'm curious as to why you say this? My son just moved from Bozeman having attended MSU and I thought the town was awesome.

Like it was mentioned, tons of new transplants fueled by working from home and salaries larger than the locals get. I read that in Bozeman and Missoula that home prices had increased more than 25% over the last year and a half. People who have lived there for years are getting priced out. Still beautiful though.

I wish you the best of luck. Unfortunately a lot of sacred gems have been over run with transplants. I know a few people who have figured out they can work remotely and have chosen to leave the Seattle Metro area and move East of the Cascades closer to where they grew up.

That seems to be all too common of a theme practically everywhere out west right now. I wish I found Spokane more appealing but it doesn't grab my attention at all. I can't help but wonder what those small towns outside the Cascades (Marblemount, Rockport, etc.) are like.

Being that I just graduated college and haven't really started a "career" yet, I'll definitely be stuck renting for awhile unfortunately. Here in Bozeman it's difficult to find any available studio apartments, and the ones I've seen are at least $1500 a month, which blows my mind.

Any 1 bedroom apartment on the west side of Wa is like $1900 and up, unless you want to rent a literal shitbox apartment
