I feel like I may have, but I see so many Tacos I couldn't be sure. Your front windows aren't tinted, are they? I saw a Tacoma similar to yours on 26EB from the Glencoe Rd exit, but their front windows were at least 20%.

I'm thinking about hitting up both Willow Creek Hot springs and Juntura Hot springs this weekend if possible. Do any of you Oregonians know what the conditions are like in either of those areas? I'd hate to be stopped by a 15' wall of snow.

Anyone's fox CO's look like this after this winter? These are my buddies shocks on his 2017 and only have 2300 miles since September on them.

Yeah I just noticed some surface rust on my rear Fox's, I've heard they are prone to corrosion so you have to keep them really clean. Must be a shitty coating on them if they start corroding that fast.

Turns out if you don't have 40's you wont make it to Juntura hot springs right now. The river is high and fast. I didn't take any pictures of the crossing but it is probably worth visiting later in the summer.

The wife and I had a great mini road trip though. After not making it to Juntura Hot springs we did make it to Willow Creek Hot Springs which was a perfect 102 degrees.

After Willow Creek we went and checked out Bend. One day was not enough in that city. Definitely on the short list of places I need to go back to ASAP!

Found a mountain to climb east of Bend:

Should be good weather for you. That's the best time to climb. I saw a couple people going up the hogs back to the Pearly gates 2 days ago

Count me in on this! I'll likely be driving around in that area in a few weeks to just explore the area. I'm moving back to Walla Walla this week and I need to relearn my way around the mountains up there and a day trip is a good place to start. I've lived outside of WA for the last 12 years and I'm ready to be back.:headbang:

It was the Oregon Trail Rally. Pretty cool rally that starts at PIR and works its way over to Central Oregon. I've been meaning to go to it for years and finally made it out.

Sweet! Gonna be a fun trip for sure, going with a climbing club from my alumni college Long ass drive from Jackson for it, but it's off season and I guess I needed another excuse to blow a bunch of money on gas

I've done both one day and 2 day trips. Camping up at the base of the steel cliffs gives you an amazing sunrise on the summit. Definitely don't want to be on the summit past noon.

Good! I've been devoid of a good camping trip for a while. Why exactly is the summit to be avoided past noon? I keep hearing the reasons being rock slides due to the extreme temp changes? Either way we're starting at 12am so we are going to be descending before then. Only 2 of the group are actually skiing it. Fuckin blows for the rest of them, I am not a true mountaineer, why the fuck would I exert the effort to trek up something just to walk back down. I'm stoked to ride it!!

If you want some really damn good skiing then go across the river to Mt. Adams and ski the southwest chutes from the summit. It's something like 5000+ vertical feet of skiing down a single chute! Back in my younger years I skied (snowboarded) Adams and Hood on back to back days.

Anyone know of any USED ultralight popup campers for sale? I can't attend another TSF adventure without one ;). Or any Tacoma buy/sell listing sites for one that isn't craigslist. Will travel

Mainly for the temperature changes. Ice falls are the biggest dangers. Start early and be careful. Walking down after the summit was the worst. Felt like it was never going to end. Most accidents on Hood happen on the decents
