How much do those weigh? I don't think it's enough to warrant a lift gate delivery? I've had a few things delivered via freight and I just backed my truck up to the back of the delivery truck, slide it out and they're on their way. Or just find 2 friends and lift it off the back of the delivery truck. My tent I went a picked up at the freight warehouse.

I'm guessing it's about 300lbs maybe more, don't have the exact weight since it's a custom build.

It's official though, they put it on a trailer with no liftgate despite my telling them I had not forklift/dock. It's 3.5ft off the ground, but they say it can be slid off the side if I have a loading ramp. So I guess my weekend project is to find some loading ramps.

Is that a 2 seater? How much you looking for?

Have it shipped to local delivery center for that company and drive there to get it.

In being shipped already and being in need of ramps, go buy a couple of 10 ft 2x8 boards.

Yup, that's more or less my plan. Picking up some used 10' aluminum ramps off craigslist tonight and will augment with extra boards as needed. Shouldn't be too difficult, just not ideal.

Geez...that'd almost be worth it to screw studs into and use as snow tires. There's a fair amount of snow during winter where I'm moving to.

Well, a diesel is in my future due to farm life.

    I may sell my Tacoma.

2015 DCSB MGM, 22k miles, King MT suspension, Pelfrey aluminum front bumper, smitty 10k winch, 17" SCS SR8s, All-Pro Expo leafs. By default my All-Pro expo rack (powder coated MGM) will go with it.

What's a good price point for this thing with the mods? I'm sure I'll get my fair share of funny offers, but this is purely a business decision and necessary to at least consider st this stage of our farm. :)

    Thanks!

Oh hey - I changed my own oil in my driveway today after having a Fumoto valve installed. Totally worth it!

You'll need to part out the goodies if you want to get value back. I've seen fully loaded LT rigs with $10-15K of upgrades go for low 30's on here.

Well, the stock truck alone carries a trade in of 29.5k.

Taking all the parts off would be the most profitable option. Taking off the Kings and TV UCAs would be doable, but I'd rather not swap the leafs back to stock. The stock rear shocks won't work with the AP Expo leafs.

I also have a Prinsu rack (never installed), AP Expo pack rack, and a CVT Summit Shasta that will likely be sold too.

If you have the stock stuff... a day of wrenching with some beers, pizza and friends can bang it all out. Granted some stuff will need replacing if the bolts broke or the oem parts were damaged... I'm sure someone here has a oem suspension setup that they can sell you for cheap. It's totally doable and will net you more in the long run. Selling a modded truck/car never gets you what you want now-a-days it seems.

    Totally!

I still have all of my stock suspension in my shop.

I love my Tacoma... but, like I stated, our life changed and we actually need something bigger with more towing capacity.

I'd love to find a way to keep the Tacoma, but the equity in it will reduce the insane price to get into a diesel rig.
