Hey everyone, I just joined TW today and got my inferno TRD OR last night. I was wondering if there are any custom built up 3rd Gen tacos in the NW oregon area so I can pick your brain about your builds and trails to go conquer. Thanks ahead of time.

Hey everyone, so I was starting to look for a bed cover, with the seasons going to rain and all, its a good investment. Does anyone have a suggestions on a good cover that wont break bank and is good quality and locks and is water tight?

Looks like I wont be developing my property beyond dry camping.
If anyone ends up out in the middle of central oregon and wants a place to dry camp for a night or two, feel free to use my property @ 43°11'30"N 120°11'15"W
It is all soft dirt unless people have been using it since I had it cleared out.
    20170823_160128.jpg
Last time I was out there, the wind was coming from the south. But, I do have some pavers on the ground on the N-NE of the clearing with 4 t-posts in the ground to anchor a 10x10 pop up canopy.
    20170823_154752.jpg
I will probably go out next spring to relocate them to the east side where I have a single track cleared into the sagebrush.
I only ask that you treat it as you would (or better) BLM land. West and south sides have private land, north and east are BLM.
If you wish to, feel free to bring some 3/4 minus gravel and add it to the single track area or where ever you want some to knock your shoes off.
Entry is over a 20ft wide culvert, so go wide if you have a trailer. DO NOT BE THAT GUY. I have already had atleast two jackasses drive into my culvert and tear it up in 4wd without fixing it.
    20170814_143314.jpg
There may be random pieces of sagebrush in the dirt, so watch out. Thats your warning, I wont be responsible for tires.
Again, this is an enter at your own risk lot. If you enter, you take full responsbility from the moment you leave paved road.

If the jets are flying low, wave. They might give you a show.

Edit: Forgot to mention. If anyone does go out there and finds anything, please let me know what it is. Mostly seen coke bottles from the 40s and ration tins.
There is a metal container somewhere out there that has a stamped maltese cross on the side. Saw it when I was carrying t posts and the driver. Forgot to go back and get it and dont remember where it was. Boundaries of my property are marked by 10ft tall white ABS pipes standing on t posts.

I was down in Christmas Valley a couple years ago when there were some big fires up in John Day/Burns. It is indeed a beautiful area, lots of outdoor stuff to do in the area.

I did stop at the Chevron in town and didn't feel very welcome but that not here nor there.

Yeah. The gas station leaves a bit to be desired. But, I didnt buy the property to make friends and get to know people.
Oh, and Im not joking about the jets. Ive got to watch a few dogfights. Best was a low run with chaffing flares as he went vertical.

I was wondering the same thing. More specifically Clackamas, Washington and Yamhill county Tacoma owners. We need a Tacoma Cruze In or a get together where we mob the local shopping malls or go out in a massive group and help old ladies cross the street or something. I like to call it "on roading" :D Anyone....anyone?o_O

I was at the newberg Chevron this morning and there were three tacomas and a old restored Land Cruser getting gas. My tacoma made four and then out from the drive through car wash pops another tacoma. I thought there needs to be a group meeting in these parts there are so many of us.

Newberg isn’t too far for a meet up. Maybe a Cars & Coffee some Saturday at World of Speed in Wilsonville....
