Stevenson might be a bit out of my range for a Sunday, anything closer???

And all I have as far as hardware goes is the bone stock Romanian AK I picked up a couple days ago. Haha but I can guarantee that my arsenal will expand as the money trickles in :D.

Man trying to find some place to rent in Lacey was tough. It feels like the place was some old podunk place and all of a sudden Olympia expanded into it and Lacey isn't quite ready.

Found an apartment that is stupid cheap, but that eliminates any garage for me.

I went to look at this place for fun, but it was completely impractical. $1,000/mo on a good sized plot of land, but it's a solid drive to get to ANYthing.

The view of the bay made me want it so bad. You can on the porch and listen to the tide

$1000/month and doesn't look like it has a garage? Even if it did, I would hesitate being that close to the water. Wouldn't want all my tools to rust.

I have to drive from San Diego to Portland by myself next Thursday, drive back to San Diego two weeks later, then drive back up to Portland 2 days after that towing a 6x12 UHaul trailer with my girlfriend.

Hey Mike, welcome to Lacey (if you find a decent place anyway). I live in Hawks Prairie off Willamette. There's a few houses for rent near me, but they're all "cookie-cutter" homes, and mostly active military families live there, but you might wanna look into it. PM me if you wanna go hit some mud/trails some time. :mudding:

The 37 second one got removed because it violated some youtube rule :(

EDIT: Nevermind, guess it didn't. But it's also the same one all the news channels have been showing. I wish someone had gotten film of what happened right before he was headed straight nose into the ground.

Ok, I just checked again and its still up. The news is really showing that video? Seems a little violent for the news. They usually don't want to show violence because our society is so pussified these days

You should post a link. Not sure I know what you're talking about. The video you posted is the one they've been showing on the news. With the plane smashing straight into the ground. It's really not any more graphic than the 9/11 footage honestly.

I agree. But it seems (at least for Portland news) that they show the nicest scene available. Not graphic or anything. I guess people can't handle a little blood. I think that video is gonna be the best one, since anyone close probably got injuried

There is a couple other videos now showing the aircraft loosing control and going into a dive... It almost looks like the pilot lost situational awareness and thought he had a lot more altitude then he did... it is a P-51 so maybe a control cable broke? I feel bad for who ever worked on the plane last...
