I'd expect something like that in....San Diego.

So even if it doesn't snow (it doesn't look like it at the moment), they'll delay school since there's still a slight chance?

monday is going to be a pain. you can see where I'm parked, and you can see the short hill I have to climb to get to the road. If the exits to my parking area freeze, I'm going to have to try winching to a tree across the road, then figure out what to do to get back down. I don't like the idea of parking on the street and getting whacked by somebody's car.

there are quite a few side roads that you can go into off that highway. not sure which one 97 i think. i drove up a couple and it seemed like maybe a logging road? there was only forest on both sides but im pretty sure it went through to a different side. i just turned around

A strong winter storm will hit the Washington Cascades Monday night, then spread into the inland northwest Tuesday and Wednesday. Most of eastern Washington and parts of north-central and northeast Oregon will be impacted with periods of heavy snow.

The east slopes of the Washington Cascades may see 1 to 2 feet of snow between Monday evening and Wednesday evening, while the northern Blue Mountains of Washington and Oregon may see up to 18 inches from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. Winds will also be an issue, causing blowing and drifting snow to reduce visibility on interstates and highways. Snow is expected for much of central and southern Oregon as well from Tuesday through Wednesday.
