Nope. The great state of Jefferson is a large area encompassing southern Oregon and northern California. They have attempted to form a 51st state but always get shut down. Most of the folks that live there feel they don't belong to California. Zach add my pile to post #1 too please.

Actually they tried to form the 49th State seeing that they tried it in 1941 which was before Alaska and Hawaii became actual states. I'm a very big State of Jefferson enthusiast lol. You're right about Jeffersonians feeling that they aren't part of California. Whenever people ask where I'm from I tell them The State of Jefferson. They think I'm crazy but whatever lol.

When I was driving up through NorCal and Southern Oregon the other week I saw some State of Jefferson signs along the hwy. I was like that's badass, I could get along with these people. Such a beautiful part of the country. Shame its split between two shitty states.

Bilstein 5100's with SAW coils, AllPro UCAs, NW offroad rear springs (garbage), 4.88s and front and rear lockrights. Lots of custom sheetmetal work.

There have been attempts in Eastern WA in the past to break away too. I believe they were going to call it the State of Lincoln.

I finally drove on ice today heading up to Timberline! No chains, siped KM2s, no sliding, no problems. :woot:

    same shit as everyone else
Alright I've had it with this POS toytec ADD A Leaf. Both have shifted again. Now my overload spring is going in one direction and the rest of the pack is going in the other direction. Center pin is torqued down to 60ft LBs and the U-bolts are torqued to 80. The right side squeeks like non other also and its really starting to piss me off. I'm calling Wheelers tomorrow to see what they have in stock. I don't want to spend the $$ on a new leaf pack but I think its going to have to happen. What's my best option for under $500? Dakar looks nice but I don't need 3inches of lift in the rear. I'm at 1.5 right now. 35K and my shit is already taking dump after dump. WTF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

They aren't that bad but there are better tires winter road conditions I'm sure. Real problem is when temps low low and the rubber hardens, thats when snow tires really excel. When I have some less sure footed moments with 'em I stick one side in the fresh snow or off the typical path to get better traction. Mine aren't siped, I'll probably sipe my next set of tires if I go with a large tread block. You know some people really hate on the KM2's...I'm at 37k with 6/32 left, only a couple chunked spots from rocks, and 1 flat thanks to a screw last week.

How was it today? Conditions didn't sound that good. Think I'm gonna go up Thursday if I can get off work by 11.

I can take some pixxors for you guys. Need to plan a little snow wheeling trip.

Oh definitely. If I lived in a place where it actually snowed (like Minnesota :p), I'd probably have a set of dedicated winter wheels and tires, but for my occasional snow ventures, my siped KM2s are great!

Conditions at Timberline were excellent! I got up there around 8 to grab some breakfast and hit the slopes right at 9 before it got too crowded. Light snow at Timberline all morning that tapered off around maybe 11:30 or so, with mostly cloudy conditions after plus a few flurries. I totally forget it was President's Day so it got crowded pretty quick. Government Camp had a rain/snow mixture on the way back down but there is still tons of snow there. Timberline should be getting plenty of fresh snow over the next week.
