    I think part of it is that we lost our regional mod... who wasn't terribly active here anyway.

    Yeah, we don't have anyone in the million post club, either. About the most famous person is derek from what I can tell (unless you count MTgirl, but Montana is not really the northwest by my definition)

    As much as I dig the deserts, weather, and women in SoCal, I think there are far more weirdos there not to mention way strict gun laws....

    On a side note, I completely forgot the rain patterns in Seattle where it's just kinda gray and drizzly. :( my desert truck needs an umbrella. I hate mud.

    Me too. Everything I like to do is a felony in socal. The same behavior is strongly encouraged in Eastern Oregon. I do miss the wide open desert sometimes, and my grid square rifle doesn't get as much use here, but Oregon is home.
