Had a fun trip with the Washington crowd today on the Fortune Creek trail. I think I have some awesome shots, I know the other guys had some.

Busted a rear wheel speed sensor (which basically kills my ABS). If I'm looking at the right part, it's only $60, so not bad.

Did you ever find out what that weird noise was from the last TSF run?

Good meeting you yesterday, Mike! Glad you got the problem figured out and it's not too bad. 1 ABS sensor and 1 add-a-leaf were only casualties out of 6 people from our trip. Realized my license plate was in similar shape as yours when I got home. Must've been all that snow I mobbed through :D

That sucks. Why not just use a can of Fix-a-flat and call it good?

Got a great story to share with everybody here. A letter came to my parents house last week addressed to me and it looked like it was something official. I didn't worry about it, because I knew I would see them soon enough to get the letter. My dad was at my house yesterday and brought the letter with him. I opened it, and it is a letter telling me that I committed an infraction, and have a court appearance for it. The court being used is in Yakima, and date of infraction is May 26th. The infraction: Minor In Possesion of alcohol. To make this better, I just had my 29th birthday about a week ago, and haven't lived with my parents for several years.

I talked with my wife, and we figured out that we were in Lynnwood on the date of infraction. I have contact with several people that saw me there in Lynnwood, and if i went digging through my stuff, I might be able to find receipts from a few purchases throughout that day, making it very difficult for me to be east of the mountains any time that day.

So you distributed to minors is what it's saying? Well if you got people to back up where you were at and was doing I'd say you're good :)

i'd also see if you have any bank records of any purchases you made when you were in Lynnwood.

if it were a matter of me providing alcohol to minors, the charge would have been Distributing to Minors, not minor in possession. i have several alibis for this and i can print off bank records to show purchases made, and get locations of them to make the case very difficult for any prosecutors. Before taking time off from work to go to court, I am going to try to get this figured out over the phone. driving half way across the state for court doesn't sound like fun to me.

i try to know some laws, usually the ones i am actually breaking, whether doing electrical stuff at work or in driving. any sharing of booze with minors is limited to giving my little brother 1 shot of something weak while he is at my house and not going anywhere for awhile.
