19ish rigs showed up I believe. Watched the presentation and Q&A and got some Warn swag then we headed out and hit Rocky Uphill, Archers, and Hogs Back. We had to winch a couple of the gate keepers on Archers back into place so we could get through. I ended up winching through an obstacle and my hulu girl on the dash finally fell apart on me...and the elocker won't disengage. Pulled the motor and it still works so I gotta go jack up the rear end and see if I can't toggle it loose manually. One of the guys in a stock 4runner blew a steering component up and a guy that trailered his rig in offered to get the 4runner home. A couple dents here and there for various people. Super awesome weather. Fun group of people. It was a blast.

That looks like it was a kick-ass good time! Now I wish I would've gone, but it was also nice to spend some time in the shop and see family. I may have to put your knowledge to use if I ever need to winch out of a weird situation.

What always gets me is if I take a nap in my car at work. Then somebody will pull out of a spot next to me and I'll jump up and slam my foot on the brake thinking my car is moving away.

hahah but i made a step towards a route, i called my shop and had them quote me for the 5100 adjustable on all 4. Then checked the price in Eibachs and the 2" shackle. I didn't realize Toytec bought out the entire stock of Eibach coils needed for our trucks so they would be the only supplier. CRAZY!! But i guess not a bad business idea considering they're the only supplier now for that particular product.

so i had to put my 13 year old Austrailian Shepherd down on Friday. His back legs finally gave out. Actually, I was at work, so my wife had to get him to the vet. We were hoping it was something that they could give him a shot for to take the pressure off of his back, but the vet said he would never walk again.

My wife was telling me about when she left the vets office, he was trying to follow her and my son out the door, but his legs just would not work. One of the most difficult thing we have had to endure.

I will post a pic of my friend when I can....

So they are just extended shocks that work with the 2" lift... gracias

When you add lift, the distance between to top and bottom shock mounts increases. So you need a shock that can handle that.

Another change from lift is the the distance between shock mounts when the wheel is completely stuffed into the wheel well and when it is a full droop. To add to the mix, these distances are not the same from side to side.

For example, stock shocks are side specific for part numbers because the eye to eye distance for the driver side shock is about 1" less than the passenger side shock.

Yep which is why there are separate part numbers for the rears.
Front # 24-022842
Right Rear # 24-184977
Left Rear # 24-184960
