I call BS on that. Formula 1 cars do a 1.9 and Car & Driver did a Bugatti Veyron at 2.4s. You want to tell me a Ford hatch on street tires is going to beat something that has a sole purpose for racing with much deeper pockets than a shoe company?

Was at the zoo today..saw this couple taking a self portrait picture with a DSLR camera and it had a FLIP OUT LCD screen!! Shit makes me want to sell my Rebel and get one :( Makes taking self portraits easier with my daughter as I hate asking strangers.

    Pretty cool IMO

That's what I was thinking, but those Fiestas are light as hell, especially with all the unnecessary parts stripped out, plus whatever insane performance modifications as well. I'd have to see it to believe it. :p

Thanks! I'll probably start a build thread on TTORA after I get some good pics to show what I'm starting with.

    Get it running...

    The to-do list:
    Install drive shafts
    Install radiator
    Re-do the flatbed
    Weld in shock towers
    Install shocks
    Needs new paint
Needs brake lines on the front axle
    Needs a new fuel line

But...it only ran a couple grand and I got 5 38.5" TSL boggers with only one trip on them. 5.29 gears and high steer. 4 brand new 14" Bilsteins. Straight sheet metal and a really good interior. Spare drive lines. Some wheel spacers and a u-bolt flip kit. Rear is welded and the front has a true trac.

Paint? Paint looks awesome! Looks like olive drab, unless if it's just the lighting in the picture. Man..lots of work to do still I see.

Not so much under good light and up close. Its a rattle can job that's coming off. Not bad yet, but it'll need to be redone.

I hope that's what I'm saying in a week or two lol

Nice, sir. Wish I still had my top hat, I have a desire to ride passenger and ask people for mustard.

Is there something up with the driver rear tire? Looks a bit off?

Wish I still remembered that stuff. I went through multivariable/vector/diff eq, but it's long gone.
About the only upper level math I can still do is marginal amounts of discrete mathematics such as finite state machines. I also love me some Karnaugh maps :)

Well...he was working on it the other day and had that tire under the truck. It ended up coming off the jack-stands and luckily the tire caught the truck instead of his chest. However, there are a couple nice gashes in that tire. Good thing it came with a full size spare and got the price knocked down a bit. I'll put an inner-tube in that tire and use it as a spare. It'll be good enough to get me out of a trail.
