24 straight hours in the ambulance. Last night we ran the bitch for 12 straight hours. Leaving it on while at the hosptial. I passed out in the front seat around 0430 and woke up at our office totally confused of where I was

Yep, we had to deal with the Santa Anna winds every year in Orange County. Fuck that was hot. My family went 25 years in Orange County without AC. My parents just put that in 2 years ago. AFTER I moved out

Sorry, but you guys are smoking crack. San Diego is famous for its mild weather. I lived there for 8 years. Average high is 77 in the summer and 65 in the winter. There are hot days but Portland has more days out of the year in the 90's and 100's than San Diego does.

    http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USCA0982

"The United States average for days above 90 °F (32 °C) is 37.9 days while San Diego's is only 2.5 days, and there are, on average 0 days below 32 °F (0 °C) in San Diego, while the national average is 88 days. The average low temperature in January for the country is 26.5 °F (−3.1 °C), and for San Diego it is 50 °F (10 °C). The average high temperature in July for San Diego is 76 °F (24 °C). The national average is 86.8 °F (30.4 °C)."

I love Oregon but San Diego has some of the best weather on the planet. Wish I could move back!

I'm starting to think I need to abandon the idea of the junkyard springs and have a shop install some Dakars. I just don't have the resources right now in my life to mess with it, and I need to make sure everything gets buttoned up inside of a weekend.

I'm going the same route but I'll install myself. I'm pretty happy with my truck but the rear suspension is definitely a disappointment. The PO didn't get the TSB taken care of and now that I have it, it's out of warranty. I don't know how the damn thing ever left the factory with the springs that are on it though. Such a joke.

With all the custom backwoods pinstripping my paint job has I would never noticed if someone keyed my yota. :D

Sucks they nailed your truck though. No reason for that crap.

Yeah in coastal San Diego. Inland San Diego gets very warm, especially during Santa Anas. I lived there for like 13 years. I'm just not a fan of sunny, warm temperatures year round. Not to mention the cost of living in southern California is retarded.

Cost does suck ya, that's mostly why I'm not there right now, lol. I lived in El Cajon those 8 years and yeah its a bit warmer than downtown, but not a bunch. Not until you get over the "mountains" lol.

The Santa Ana's are a trip, I distinctly remember a day the wind was really kicking up, it felt like someone had a blow dryer in my face. But if that's a bad day, those days were few and far between. In my book a bay day is a rainy, cold day and we get those 8 months of the year back here at home! :)

Glad you're happy with the weather here though, somebody's gotta be.

Where I lived (92127), their temperatures are about 5-10 degrees hotter per day right now. I totally get why people like that weather year round. It's just not for me. :p
