Ah but a shovel and random patch of dirt in a forest are nearly free...:spy:

    I kid!

Hopefully getting reimbursed for a summers worth of rent this weekend. Finally time to buy parts for the '85, stoked.

Flanges for the transfer case and rear axle, so I can bolt up the one driveline of four that does fit and extended brake lines and pads and a steering extension and a fuel filter or fuel pump. Should get it to move under its own power. Then I need to build a front driveline and finish the flatbed and repaint. And school starts on the 24th. Yay

Sometimes I wish I had more to work on my truck.

Is your Yota your DD? Maybe I've seen you driving around. You may have seen me, too.

I've thought about that - i think it looks mean and it adds some clearance between tire and fender. Only problem is they are cut out - so there's no going back. I had a friend who bought them, he drilled a few holes and they ended up not fitting right so he threw them away. No he has 4 holes in his bedside lol.

Trust me, you don't lol. Yea, my '04 is the DD. Picked up the '85 to give it a break. Sucks breaking stuff on the DD. Racing to get it finished in time for snow runs to Marys Peak. You're in Corvallis, right? I'll be back down there for school in a couple weeks. I can't remember if I've seen your truck running around or not. Have you seen that LT'ed black double cab 1st gen. So gorgeous.

But wheeling Saturday, so its all good haha.

    Oh man...if only...

The 3.4's are good for such high mileage I wouldn't think twice about it. Worst case, rebuild your engine before you put a SC on?

You will always have to run
premium. But wouldn't it be worth it?

I'm just putting ideas out there haha. I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap, but it would so darn nice to have a fresh engine and SC. I can't help but feel like mine has lost some of its pep.
