LOL Zach, you're not suppose to ask dude.

x2. It's like talking about religion..it leads no where and turns in to a big argument.

No more taco life for me
    my ballot? still unopened.

Mike I got my HTPC running,
XBMC is pretty awesome, but I am kind of irritated I probably will have to go in and refresh and if not manually rename a good chunk of media. I was getting pretty angry over it, until I read a bit about it. It seriously renamed about 20 of my movies Taken 2, and I don't even have that film.

Television is going to be a mess. -_-

But anyways, thank you for your suggestion and I am glad I went with this over a NAS, the HTPC is so much nicer than the laptop I was using. Even just the upgrade to HDMI was worth it.

X3 That is a surefire way to either lose friends or at the very least to have a never ending argument. Politics, and religion talks have never ended well for me or the person I am debating with. ;)

    I highly recommend it.

Craigslist has been disappointing for tire options so far. I really don't want to have to buy a brand new set.

well the closest mountain to portland is mt. hood. there are a number of different areas you can get passes to, but there really are only 2 good options.

you can get a season pass to meadows or get a fusion pass to timberline and ski bowl.

meadows is the biggest area on the mountain and i have heard that this year nike is doing all of their parks. so could be something to think about.

ski bowl was like the first ski park in america or something and also has night skiing. timberline is basically a smaller version of meadows. I got this pass last year and its kind of cool being able to finish boarding at timberline, get some food, and then hit up skibowl for some night skiing right after.

gonna go back to meadows this year though.

lemmie know if you got any other questions

lots of guys here like to go to tillamook state forest. i cant really say how close to portland it is...maybe like an hour?

government camp is also a cool area. its on the same road as when you are going up the mountain to either timberline or meadows. forget what highway that is

Climbing/ Mountaineering..... Mt. hood 11,XXX feet. Mt. Adams 12,XXX feet. Mt. Rainer 14,XXX feet. Hood is 72 miles from Portland. Adams is probably 2.5 hours NE. And Rainer is probably 3.5 hours north

Hood is the easiest. Basically a walk and then just a small techinal part to the top. Adams is a walk I have heard. Rainer is technical but do able.
