Wow that's surprising. Rocky Uphill is always the little bastard while FB5 seems to get more like a good home.

I managed to pick a real good line on the far left of FB5, didn't have too much problems other than the big rock at the end.

Just so you all know, I finished up my Rock Slider design and build. And am offering these to all 05-13 Tacoma's.. I can also do a kickout if you want. It will be a 2 piece designed kickout..

All the next ones I build will have all 3 mounting plates L-shaped to add strength. I can also make them stick out more if you want. I made mine with shorter legs to be closer to the body, but still stick out about 1/2-3/4" past the doors for protection.
Let me know whatr you guys think.. :)

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Great job on the sliders man!

Just some food for thought, pretty much all the sliders I have seen for 2nd Gen Long-beds lack the proper support in the rear. All the kits, and pre-fabbed options I have seen do not offer support past the rear-frame "kick-up". I have personally seen them flex just by standing on them, and was concerned about having the rear bend up into the body, causing more damage that would be hard to remedy.

When we built my sliders, we were sure to add an extra support brace on the frame that connect the rear-most section.

I'm not trying to tell you how to make them, just throwing an idea out there that will give you an unique "competitive advantage" if you will, especially when independent fab-shops seems to be popping up like scotch-broom. It's hard to innovate on something like sliders, but they look damn good.

    Best of luck

Evan's Taco is a street queen! I didn't help the situation when he heard mine creaking away after I left his place from all the wheeling I've done.

Your sliders turned out awesome, Evan. My Avid's should be here soon and then I'll be stopping by!

That's the injector service place a buddy pointed out to me. Says he has had very good results from them.

Lower ball joints from Rock Auto should be here this week.

Uni-balls + bushings & a bottle of Tri-Flow for my UCA should be here this week also from Wheelers Off-Road.

Got my OEM shocks + spacer lift on standby waiting to go on to replace my Camburg coilovers.

Got my mini coleman propane tank/torch ready, just need to get me a can of air duster.

Got June 30th - July 5th off. Should give me enough time to tackle any obstacles I come across.

Yes sir! I wasn't aware that DSM doesn't do it so it's Camburg it'll go to.

    Pure sexiness right here!

    Hahahah!

Speaking of Wheelers Off Road..perks of living in the same state! Got a shipping notice yesterday via e-mail..look what just got here! Even came with new zerk fittings for the UCA(wasn't in the description of list for bushing rebuilt kit).

And another sticker to add on to my tailgate

Yes, but not at this moment. The front is in pretty bad shape so I want to take care of that before I move on with the rear. Narrowed it down and think I'm going to go with Walker Evans rear shocks from All-Pro

Walker Evans Racing 2.0 rebuildable compression adjustable reservoirs rear shocks.

I wish man. All day at work on Saturday I kept on saying to my trainee "Man I wish I wasn't here right now..I could be out off roading with my off road buddies!" Truck looks good also Mitch, especially with the All Pro hybrid bumper.
