I was there for a client for a few days. I was told not to go out at nights.
there's one road that looks like they wanted to get fancy from when Target moved in (fancy conference center and hotel, a line of overpriced restaurants). East side is big box shops. The main drag does look like 1950's throwback and gives reference to why the town is called Car Lot City. I've never seen so many car lots in one area.

    Everything else is literally tagged.

On the plus side, you are right between Naches and Moses Lake, so you have easy access to great trails and dunes.

Yakima area stinks for raising kids and like others have said.. it's a dump. I was born and raised in Yakima, unfortunately. A lot of gangster Hispanics and tagging every where.. there are shootings literally every day. The more west you go the better it gets. I lived within city limits but more west and it wasn't run down when I left and I drove through there two years back and it's all tagged and looks like the hood now. It's like a disease that slowly spreads westward. Ahtanum and Naches forests are pretty close to Yakima which offer some decent off roading.

Thanks for the info. The Army sure does pick great spots. Barstow has crackheads and Yakima has gang bangers.

Got a project for next weekend :woot:

Initial impressions: seems to be well constructed, it is heavier than I anticipated. Decent mounting hardware, and it should fit nicely in the grille (under the emblem). Josh said he wasn't able to get a Toyota or TRD logo on there without spending a bunch of time to get it right, and there may have been some "legal" issues which is understandable.

Josh was pretty good with keeping me in the loop with updates, and after checking SeeLite's FB page, he seems like a damn busy guy with promoting his business and putting his lights to good use while fishing. I will need to figure out the wiring harness, but that should be relatively easy I hope.
