    DO NOT GO TO THEM

it took him 2 months to get me an add a leaf. Then another month to replace it after the first one broke in 12 days.

I had him setup my diffs in the yota. Took like 3 months.

Ive called several times asking about random stuff to purchase through him and he never calls me back.

was going to order a bumper through him and he quoted me 800 including shipping. 3 weeks later he renegotiated the deal when my gf called.

Terrible service. ...will never go through him again.

His name is john btw and his mom usually answers the phone.

save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere!

I had no problem, but I walked into the store. Someone else on here said they had an easy time with them. I haven't had him do any work, but I do the majority of my work myself anyway.

I don't blame you. But he only has some simple welds to do. We have already figured out nobody in the group has a welder up here in WA though.

I'm the one that mentioned Auburn Car Repair & Offroad.
John's always been spot-on with his diagnosis and has saved me money in the past. If I have anything important, I go there. Whatever I've had, it's come back right.

There are some things he could do better, in that he rarely answers email, doesn't always return calls, and there's been some rare cases when he didn't call me the minute he finished. However, he's a two man shop. Stopping to read email doesn't always happen when you have cars backed up.

Of the other places I've gone to,
-I could NEVER send an email, let alone receive. I typically send John my laundry list and call him to check the inbox and talk it over.
-If I don't call to check on my vehicle, those shops would keep it overnight and probably the next week until I bothered them. John gives me an update reasonably quick.
-I always have to fight to get a shuttle or a loaner. John tosses me the keys to the loaner Jeep and tells me where I can grab some coffee or a bite to eat - even if I'm just having something minor done.

I'm not sure I'd buy special parts through him simply because he's not set up to be a warehouse - there's nowhere to store that stuff. He's at the mercy of whatever distributor he has, which is probably going to be just as fast as what you have available.

The ONLY time I've disagreed with him is in regard to diff drops. He believes in them, and I've found research to think otherwise.
