I have only gone hiking on pilchuck before, never wheeling, but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to try. My truck isn't really set up for rock crawling.

 

I used to be a missile dude in the Army, and have a decade of experience blowing stuff up. To me, they are just a novelty, although if a gasoline soaked zombie happened by I would be tempted light him up with one. You can still buy rock salt ammo, and even pepper spray rounds to go with it! lol

God in love craigslist. Just sold my LED bar for 60 bucks less then I bought it for.

 

Just sold a 21" single row Flood pattern that had 4000 lumens and will be changing that out with a 20" double row combo pattern with 9600 lumens

I went shooting at my secret spot in the Beckler River area today. Then checked out the power lines on NF-6512.

 

take photos of them when its raining and dark. You wont be disappointed

 

That's a good idea. I stopped the truck, turned it off and opened the windows to hear the crackling and buzzing. Cool!

 

Anytime were out by a set here, its cool to stand in the rain and watch the lines. Constant blue arcs.

Come down to Capitol Forest...I got a few good spots that are legal and usually private. Good for short-range or long-range (<500yds).

 

Capitol Forest is just outside of Olympia.

 

Yup, bout 45 min- 1 hour for you. Takes another 20 minutes to get to the different gravel pits

 

Sounds like a better option than my neighbors yard where it butts up to my yard. I have an okay spot to shoot up to about 50 yards if you stand back, but safer for about 25-30 yards. In a few weeks, I may have to make good use of the space though.

 

Sounds like a great option! I'm driving from Vancouver to Seattle for work a lot lately. It leaves a lot of time for extracurricular activities...like blackjack at Emerald Queen Casino, or LeMay Car Museum, which I haven't visited yet. Love to stop off and play with my new ACOG
