The student population needs to be forced into this weather so the herd can be culled.

Torque is no bueno in this weather. Made two runs Friday. It wasn't any deeper at the top than on the Valley floor. It was pretty grippy, I wasn't having any issues. However, the corners on the way up to the turn off for the Peak were a little slick though. Got some major accidental drift action on the way down haha. I haven't been up since. Been busy "studying" for finals haha. I'm sure its nasty and slick now. Don't even want to think how much traffic it got over the weekend. That snow is destroyed now.

A couple buddies were doing donuts in the top parking lot on our night run and my buddy in his '85 4runner managed to plow into our other buddy's Raptor. A fender on those things run $500!

    awesome ^^.

this is hwy 30, Scappoose, in a more clear section of the hwy. the streets off the hwy are completely covered in this compacted snow more like ice contraption. I haven't heard of any accidents reported, and everyone is driving at least 25+ in the 35mph zone.

Been driving the Dmax around on icy roads this weekend. Over 900 foot lbs of torque and 450hp....I'll be honest I stay out of the boost! Those diesels can get away from you pretty fast...on dry pavement...on ice they are downright dangerous! Sure is fun to roost snow though. I think I'll be taking the taco to work this week.

Haha yup! I don't do donuts. Something bad always happens. The Raptor is growing on me though. Love the suspension on it!

I'm not surprised. There where a lot of cars in ditches around Corvallis. I have a buddy that works for a towing service in town and he had a solid collection of pics from the day. So much stupidity. I came within half a foot of t-boning a dumbass yesterday. Thought for sure I was going to put my wreath in his driver side door. I never thought I would flip off an old person in my life.

Hah! I bet you do. It has to be such a pain to moderate the skinny pedal on it. Its all surprising how little torque it can take to mess you up on the ice.

I may or may not have left a little sharkfin in the seat when merging onto the icy freeway. When you are in 4hi doing 60 and hit 20psi boost it's a little sketchy.
After that I kept it under 1500 rpms lol.

No, this is where Mother Nature separates out idiots from lesser idiots.

4wd may help you go faster, and even turn better, but I doesn't help you stop any faster.

Old people make some stupid moves. I was going through Marysville when an old guy driving a pickup turned out onto the center line covering both lanes making me and another guy have to nail brakes, then he wouldn't pick up speed past 25 mph, but he did move into 1 lane.
