he ruined it. I don't care if it has the ability to drop down or raise up. that ride height in the second pic is still lower than factory. looks almost like he took an older low boy tacoma chasis and put the 4runner body on that.

    crap bolted and welded together....
Can someone explain how much more this is beneficial? I don't see the cost in this making it worth it.

    Being cool

But probably just being unique. Tucks everything up out of the way

And it keeps your bed intact. Your "bed cage" is under the bed

I would be worried about weight distribution. That's a lot of weight right there

Allows you to keep the bed functional is the main benefit.

Anyone from the Eastern WA area? Around the Yakima/TriCities/Kennewick area..... I'm looking for an off road shop local and somewhat quick. I'm new to the area and have a 3.3" lifted 2011 DCSB with 33" tires. Just had the Toyota Dealership re-align the truck and they jacked the front tires backward and now my Cab Mount Chop Mod isn't doing shit for me!!! If I can't fid a place this next week, I will probably cancel my trip to MT over the holidays...... won't be able to turn let alone flex at all while going to the mountains!

Thanks in advance for any references!

Fix it yourself mang. The front alignment cams (closest to the front bumper) control caster. Turn the driver side one clockwise when viewed from the front bumper and the pass side counterclockwise. This will push your tires forward away from the cab mount. Just make sure they are even. If you don't feel comfortable take it to an alignment shop and tell them you want more caster to clear the mounts. If you are clusterfucked and can't figure it out I'm an hour out from tri-cities, but it will cost you beer. Good beer, as I've spent some time at GTA myself.

I haven't put a wrench on them yet because I'm waiting for my Housing Shit to still come from overseas with my tools (have only been in town for 3 weeks and just picked up the truck from the Port). the dude at the dealership said today that the caster bolts where seized up! Due to him or just corrosion idk? He supposedly put a breaker bar on them and felt like he was going to snap them so he stopped.... I might just buy a wrench or 2 this weekend and give it a try.... but if not I think its going to need new hardware for the LCAs. Just kind of PO'd cause it only has 28000 miles. I will take what you said into account if I attempt it in the Hotel parking lot HAHA

Oh shit I didn't realize that. Well if you feel like a road trip I have a shop, and did ten years active duty so mi casa su casa. We can try to put some heat on them and get them busted loose, or hit them with PB blaster. Make it down here by 1000 tomorrow and I'll take you shooting too! Later, Logan

PBlaster is fucking awesome stuff. It makes WD40 look like spray glue. Another good one to use is CRC brand. I use that stuff at work and in my opinion, it is a little better than PBlaster.

As for buying wrenches, I suggest Kobalt crap, or craftsman. Kobalt is exclusive to Lowes, and Craftsman is primarily through Sears, with a little through Ace Hardware. Both have the lifetime warranty on their hand tools. Kobalt will probably be the cheaper way to go.

If Toyota did the alignment and cranked the wheels back, I would say first take it back to them and tell them to fix it on their dime. Good luck on getting it fixed in time.

Thanks for the input! I ended up going to les schwab down the road and with the PB blaster and an impact we got them loose and adjusted them. A little bit positive caster made the difference but I think I need to still re-do the Cab Mount Chop so when I flex I don't make any contact, I figure take off another 1/2" to where the hole is on the mount and it will be good! I am honesty no happy with the dealer and don't think I will go back there unless I have drivetrain issues, they didn't try and just said they needed to be replaces.... seems lazy to me. I will be turning my new garage into a shop hopefully once I get settle here!

Why did they feel the need to 'paint' the mud on the side of a mud truck? LoL

On a side note, hows the snow on Hood? I might come up in January and snowboard on my old turf.

Anyone looking to go drive some snow covered service roads and camp out? Went with a buddy this last weekend up Lolo Pass on Hood.

Some pics. My DCSB (stock :( ) and his AC. My A frame actually got too hot I had to move into my truck.
