Do any of you guys know of some wheeling trails in the wallowas or if there are a decent amount of forest service roads? The lady wants to do some backpacking/truck camping out there and I've never spent any time out there

Good, good - enjoying my month off.. It's definitely weird to spend money again after nothing for about 3 months!

Keeping busy, doing an Old Man Doug Refurb on my leafs, waiting for that HC Bumper from Bruteforce to show up...

Stoked to go out to Hell's Canyon with my nephew. Got invited to travel on some private roads on a 7,500 acre ranch.

Going to try and meet up with my uncle down in San Diego in November.

    How about you?

right on, my Jake is kicking ass all over that Idaho campus, I'm grinding hard in the heat to keep him up there, hitting the OR dunes in a couple of weeks for some badly needed R&R.

Yea, they are fairly bullet proof as far as tires go. You can definitely get a poop ton of miles out of them. I never noticed the noise when dad was running them on his h1, but it made enough noise as it was, it probably drowned them out. Not really concerned about the noise though. I've grown to like the hum of a more aggressive tire haha. As far as DDing, they are going on the wheeler. It will be just street legal enough to drive to a few spots not far from where I live and around town just to keep it from sitting and getting lot rot.

I think I remember reading about your BFG issues. That was pretty ridiculous you went through that many. How pissed where they to warranty that many tires?

I would but I have 33's and 38.5's. Just on either end of what you need lol.

Where are the pics from our half of the meet?

Oh, and aircraft paint stripper is literally collected from Satan's latrine. Foulest stuff ever. I instantly regret my decision to take the '85 down to bare metal for paint.

    Google: Ospho...

I go through about a gallon of it a month, like to keep the steering room on the boat just about surgically clean. Scrubbing grease zerks with a tooth brush.. Anal retentive, much?

Have you thought about blasting it?

America's tire didn't bat an eye for the first few, but I brought them in the back of the Chevy. One time I tried rolling in with the taco and the guy said "no way we are going to warranty race tires". I said I wasn't racing, just live on a dirt road. He didn't believe me for some reason, but it was mostly the truth. So what if I took 50 miles of dirt road at 115 mph to get home the long way? lol. I still buy my tires through them for the other rigs just because their warranty is so awesome, they got their money back from me.

Ya...there is a ton of FS roads but not much that would require 4wd. The Joseph side by wallowa lake is usually full of tourists in Subarus, my favorite part is the La Grande side. Check out http://oregonhuntingmap.com/

Speaking of r & r, I just hiked ten miles at silver falls last week. The hike didn't relax my body much but my mind was def at ease:
