I can't seem to find an easy answer searching. Does the 2017 (more specifically yours, at least) have TSS, and if so does the low hoop interfere with it? Thanks.

@SouthernStyleOffRoad says it won't interfere. As Nuked said, I have a 17, hence no TSS.

@Bertw192 Front plate on there anywhere? Feels like another reason for WSP to take $150 off of ya or whatever it is now.

I've not had a plate for about 3 months now, and it hasn't seemed to get much attention. In my previous car (E46 M3), I had even been pulled over, numerous times, and it was never brought up.

Ultimately, I'm not sweating it .

2 years of no front plate the only issue I had is If you park downtown Seattle and the meter maid catches you. They write you a 150$ ticket for invalid plate display. Maybe not paying for a week and dodging them 5 out of 7 days had something to do with it.

Seattle Parking Enforcement will nail you for not displaying a front plate, whether you pay or not. Kinda sucky but makes sense in Seattle. They will get their dollar (or 150) whenever they can, especially if they have a whole squad of PEO enforcing the regs and a directive telling them to enforce it. Local municipalities and County not so much due to a lack of dedicated parking enforcement.

I work with guys that will be hunting for a front plate and if you dont have it, pull you over for it. We don't have quotas, but stats are generated and if you dont have enough "stats" you will get a talking to. No front plate? Stat pad time! Its an easy ticket with minimal fuss, its hard to argue if its on your registration and you can easily cite RCW 46.16.

I dont really have an opinion on them, there is a public safety argument on one side and an arbitrary argument on the other. To be clear, I dont enforce it even if its obvious. Thats at my discretion, YMMV. There are better things to do with your time.

Pretextual arguments aside it's a good in but I don't know anyone that writes for it either.

Did someone trade in a 18 cement DCSB with canopy, 4runner pro wheels, Cooper STTs? There's one at the back of the Toyota Dealership in Bellingham with dealership plates.
