    Here's hoping the 6' SmartCap looks as cool when it arrives... fingers crossed maybe they revised how it looks :fingerscrossed:

    This is kind of dorky, they just decided to shoe horn the shortbed windows onto it (presumably to simplify supply chain and parts ordering...) and it really shows:

    I've read mixed things; mainly to do with water/dust intrusion, locks seizing with minimal adverse conditions, and some pitting/rust issues (stainless???)

    Bought a fiberglass color matched cap and then decided to go RSI after it was already fully paid... So if anyone wants a MGM 6' SnugTop, All American on 82nd might still have it in stock (without a 2mo wait), though some lucky schmuck probably already snapped it up just to avoid the COVID time tax.

    I can attest to that. I sold a Alu-cab after 4 months because the flush latches would freeze shut in the snow. Pretty sure the SmartCaps use the same style. Got so bad I was carrying a butter knife around in the glovebox to pry it open
