Oregon and Washington Truck Spotting

When the factory "Taco Lean" isn't enough for your driving pleasure...

 

I noticed my driver side rear sits one inch higher than my passenger side for some reason, and now it drives me insane. That. That's punishable by death

 

Haha I too am out there triggering everyone's OCD. It's so I can keep a mini ski rack there in the winter and traction boards in the summer or whatever else is awkwardly shaped for the bed there(even a small cargo basket once off someone else's vehicle when I was taking a bunch of friends camping).

Before someone asks why I don't put it on the opposite side to counteract the lean it's because the exhaust is on that side and I like starting up the truck to warm up while I put my tent away in the winter. Also like don't y'all have anything better to do than worry about a quarter of an inch lean?

 

That's because he's about to load all the goodies from Trader Joe's in the passenger side.

 

Haha I just like to point it out so when I do it bc of my 270 awning this will be old news

I’ve never understood the obsession with the taco lean. I couldn’t care less.

 

I finally had to correct mine... my dash mounted hula girl was starting to complain about a sore lower back, from leaning to one side constantly.

 

That's not why she had a sore lower back Bert and You Know It. Wait, my bad, I'm sorry, I thought this was the roast thread.

 

I'd bet 90% of the people that complain about it, had never heard of or noticed it until they read about it here. Then suddenly it's the biggest problem in the world.

It's a big thing in the Jeep community too. My Jeep XJ had a noticeable lean towards the driver's side.

Have you read some of the threads on here? Taco owners are some of the most anal retentive, "my truck is literally my baby" types in existence.

 

New third genners are definitely the most anal retentive bunch I've ever come across.
