Judging by the decal he's tired of scraping morons and/or their collateral damage off the road. That shit's gotta be traumatic.

Have a good friend that works for the medical examiner and her stories are crazy. She says streetbike crashes usually involve a line of techs sweeping the scene each with a 5 gallon bucket to put pieces into as they find them scattered about.

Yeah, a close buddy of mine did a ride along with a fire department EMT... he said it was the most traumatic experience of his life. People OD'ing with screaming babies, traffic accidents, domestic abuse, etc... Needless to say, my buddy did not pursue his intended career as a firefighter.

My uncle was a firefighter for years until his knees retired him to an EMT role. He definitely didn't find my "rather die than change smoke detector batteries" joke funny, at all.

my grandpa was VP of UW medical sciences. He said they internally called motorcyclists “eventual organ donors” i nearly supported his theory by wrecking a dirt bike w/o a helmet at 45MPH and breaking my collar bone and losing some hearing in one ear. He read me the riot act and i didnt get on a bike until after he died :anonymous:

With the 25 year import rule, all the weird late 90s stuff is finally making it over here by the boat load to try and get $10k+ for what is essentially a $2,000 vehicle

It’s weird because I was always under the exact same impression but camped with a dude halfway up Mt Hood last year and he had a RHD Land Cruiser at the trailhead. When I asked him what the appeal was he said it was way way cheaper than a used 80 series.

I wonder if the value tanks on resale once they’re imported since it’s such a small market and the average person isn’t paying extra for RHD.

There are always crazy expensive diesel imports popping up in the PNW Craigslist thread that never seem to sell.

Some of the vehicles, sure absolutely. Skylines, Cruisers, Silvias, Supras, etc. I used to drive by an import yard on Aurora every day. For every 1 gtr they had they had 15 of those weird vans, or odd mini firetrucks, or delivery trucks. Gotta fill the containers with some high and some low value vehicles
