    I'm currently shopping for a car in that price range for my son (almost 17) to get to school and work. That's tempting, but right hand drive, manual, and minimal safety features probably isn't the best for a new driver.

    It sure would be fun to have though.

    Uh... Yeah, probably not the best. But at least you know he wouldn't be getting speeding tickets. $6500 is way too much for a novelty vehicle. maybe at $3000 or less.

    It's a shame that old Honda Civics have gotten so expensive. This would have made a great first car, 3 years ago, when you could pick it up for under $4k.

    While I agree that those things are sick as hell I could see a highschooler being pissed about having to drive the toy clown car to school. They can't appreciate it in all it's glory yet.

    Lucky for him he's in running start, so he'd be driving it to college (even though he's a highschooler). I still don't think he'd like it very much and he would probably never forgive me.
