    Ive been pulled over for everything but my window tint.... Halos, "no" mud flaps, wheels sticking out too far, exhaust, bike rack covering my rear plate.... For some reason my truck is the vehicle I've been pulled over in the most. But ya, I've never been ticketed in it. Knowing the laws and being respectful can go a long way.

    So I bought a canopy for 600 bucks it had some small chipping on the bottom edge none of it is into the fibers. Any suggestions on what material to use to repair before I have it painted?

    There is nothing that you can do without a modicum of experience, which you clearly don't have based on you asking that question. Gelcoat, Bondo, filler, etc all require sanding off the bad stuff and filling and sanding. I've priced out proper gelcoat repair on boats and a single hole costs more than your canopy. I would just live with it, it's a $600 canopy

    You could try solar res (used for surfboards, cures in sunlight) or epoxy if the area is small enough. Sands/shapes easily. Can’t attest to long-term durability for that application, however.

    I just called and the guy said the OEM tint is hard to match. Too brown or something. Did you do all the windows or just the fronts? I'd hate to spend the money if it makes the truck look wonky.
