bought a new skid plate for one, and two sets of tires for two bikes today. Could have paid for like 1/3 of a HC rear for that shit hahah.

So is a skid something you only need for really advanced trails or is it preventative?
    Also, wings or no wings?

Both really. It helps keep the frame in better shape, and protects the engine case. It also aids in traversing trees/rocks ect... On some trail adventures.

    From their site:

I was total crap the one time I tried single track and I want to feel confident faster instead of half ass around.

oh and i forgot, got a new trail tech voyager also. Just waiting on a bracket for it. I also realized I shouldnt have sold the light kits i had. I need a setup for my 250, but debating about just getting a new helmet light and calling it good. Hm.... decisions decisions lol.

That voyager thing looks pretty sweet. I just found out a few week ago how to rig my my garmin 62stc with a RAM mount. Eventually I want to get HDB handguards with the sxdx top clamp so I can add a cig adapter for power.

After my accident on Saturday, though, my top priorities are a hitch mount bike carrier and some real boots. The boots are really going to set me back because I'm going to probably need custom made due to my stupid feet. Guys I talked to suggested that Sidi would be a good brand to contact.

The HDB handguards are the bomb, I have had a few sets and absolutely love them. Strong as hell and with all the top clamp designs available they are very trick. You'll love them!

Yeah I've been looking at HDB ultimate guards with a clamp that has power capabilities. I think I'll still go that route eventually but that item still would be really good.
Before that I need to do boots and a hitch ramp in case I fall again.
I tried to contact sidi to see if they would sell me factory seconds in mismatched sizes or maybe custom make something, no response yet.
I also found Vendramini out of Italy, and they ONLY do custom fits. Prices are around $750 but that's to be expected when it comes to my stupid foot.
I wish there was a decent sized local company that carried more than one boot in stock at any time :( I know for manufacturers that icon is local, but I don't think they really care about boots.
