Well guys. Now that I got this in a different section I was hoping this would pick up steam with the NW guys.

so I’ll ask this. Do you guys have any planned fishing trips or do you have a goal this year for your angling adventures?

Got into a few on some new water yesterday. Otherwise I’m just getting ready for March Browns to start hatching.

Just drove the upper stretch today. Slightly off color, but looked extremely fishy in the tail outs.

I just drove down the coast. I’ll be on the Sixes tomorrow and Monday. Usually good this time of year and the weather looks just right this weekend.

I'm a bit late to the party here but I'd be up for a steelhead trip with some folks. I like to go mudding out near a few of my favorite holes and it'd be nice to have some company.

I guess I’ll answer my own question...

the only planned trip I have SO FAR is a trip to Prineville reservoir in June. Might be hitting up the Columbia in April for a weekend full of bass fishing but that’s not set in stone yet

my goals are to try and learn more about salmon/steelhead fishing as well as his bass hard this year. I wanna try some different Techniques with trout as well

I'm planning on hitting a few remote lakes out in the Sisters area in the summer and probably spending a few days fish bumming it down on a few of the rivers in Southern OR. Haven't decided on the rivers yet - I'm thinking Sixes, Elk, Umpqua, Rogue, something along those lines

I've got a limited guide schedule this year as we're still going through the COVID situation... but I'm considering skipping springers altogether this year and just going fly only for trout during that time. Springers are getting insanely popular while some of the best fly fishing is happening on rivers that have no one on them. Plus fly fishermen tip their guides better  Summer and fall I'll be doing steelhead only. On the personal side I have a few trips planned for the Deschutes with my dad. He wants to catch a summer steelhead on a skater (dry fly) this year and I'm determined to help him achieve it. The rest of the schedule is filled with hunting.

I have only caught trout on fly. That’s another thing I would like to get better at.

also never done a guided trip every in 39 years of living in Oregon
