Oregon Racks Mt.Hood low profile bed rack

weekend bump!

 

Been watching thread ( for a month) and thinking about buying, but with the lack of response from the seller, I am having second thoughts.

 

Can't say I'd reccomend as somone in the group buy.... Seems once we paid we no longer mattered.... Not sure I'm gonna get a rack

 

Yeah everyone here is on edge about this situation. All i can say is at least give us some update, good or bad. So we know something.

 

I texted him yesterday for an update and his reply was:

"Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a dick or blow anyone off. I have worked 68 hours since Monday until yesterday and I am working all day today and tomorrow again. I've had two days off in almost a month. I'm insanely busy at work."

 

I got the same text. Word for word.

 

Got the same reply. I'll wait and see but I want to hear back by end of this week.

 

well, if you assumed you couldn't handle the GB workload, maybe you shouldn't have opened it @NWexpo

Just give some update by this week good or bad.

Let me know who PAID. Im already started a claim through SquareUp. I don't know about you but I want my money back so i can purchase something else. It doesn't look like this rack will turn up soon. I know this maybe my frustration talking but Im sure most of you already have frustration building up about this situation. I only asked for an honest update, good nor bad but he can't even comment on here. So my hopes about this has gone down the toilet and ready to move on to something else.

So let me know who's in with me on this claim or not. Doesn't matter, I'm gonna get my money back no matter what.

I paid (5/28)well before the group buy and have the same frustration. I was at a street fair this weekend and came across a booth with overland vehicles on display. I talked to a guy with a very nice 3rd gen and told him I have a tent and I just need racks. He says I should check out this local company called Oregon racks. I told him I have an order with him and I've been waiting 3 months. The guy was shocked and it's kinda sad that people are recommending him and he can't even give us a timeline of completion. It sucks even worse when he lives in the same area as you too. I guess this is what I get for trying to support local.

 

Unbeliveable...just wow.

 

FWIW I use the crap out of my Voodoo rack and have no complaints. Was anoitba week turn around time.

That is very sad. I try to support local businesses/ small businesses too but sometimes this is what happens. I still have a little hope left from Tim but if doesn't reply to this thread by this week. I'm filing a dispute through my bank with hopes to get my money back.
