Oregon Racks Mt.Hood low profile bed rack

His full name is Tim Anderson. He’s a member of the PNW Expedition group here in Portland Oregon. Not sure if he’s even active within that group though.

 

He is also listed as a distributor for Trail Gear

Highlighted in the screen shot.

 

I think we should file some kind of report on him. Seems as if history repeats itself and if anything, Shady Tim should get flagged somewhere/somehow to prevent this from happening to others in the future....SMH

He has completely changed his whole website. He is now calling what I bought as a a bed rack, supposedly incorporating bars between the uprights, low profile load bars. Looks like i got scammed on that bit since he never planned on giving me the rest of the parts or the basket that i won and have pictures of in personal messages here on Tacoma world. What a scum. Met this guy in Oregon City after driving from bend and said he would ship the stuff that was apparently messed up prior to or in powdercoating. Then the whole I'm too busy at work thing started.

 

Can someone report this guy or something? Please. Don't want this guy swindling anyone else.

Who wants to initiate with PD? Is there anything we can do woth other agencies since his actions affected e-commerce and across state lines?

 

Anybody got any news from him at all ? I was part of the group buy.
I waited to see if I would get anything, but as of today, I still haven't recieved anything from my order.

Did anybody get refund from him ?
Did you get refund from the Credit Card company ?

I am living in Canada, and so, I can't go to him directly...

 

@VinceViou I would contact your credit card company and get the dispute put in immediately. There is no chance IMO that this crook will ever ship your item. The longer you wait the harder it will be to get your money back. Just my 2 cents

 

@Blahma Thanks for the advice, I just called them and they have already reimbursed me, and get a dispute in their system.

It's a shame, I was really liking this bed rack.

Any advice on other vendors which sell the same type of products ? I am not able to find anything here in Canada...

I will have to check, my goal is to have a rack in the back which I can adjust for canoe transport. Usually, I will transport things that will not go above the driver cabine, but I need the possibility to transport canoe.
