Just purchased a 2018 TRD LB - stoked to finally own one. Looking forward to the trips it will take us on!

Next up a CVT (maybe).

Thanks. Was thinking of getting some LED lights to match the bed light - not sure why Toyota stopped there, and gave the cab just regular dim lights. Cheaper I guess, but still odd.

First question:
If we change the headlights (low/hig) to LED, will it fire off any codes?

If you are not set on CVT, I just bought a Tepui tent and has great reviews. I know a vendor that you can go thru that is awesome and gives discount (15%).

 

I'm impartial to what I get at the moment. Was thinking CVT since its our local product here in Bend, Oregon. There's one on CL for $2,100, (https://bend.craigslist.org/spo/d/cvt-rooftop-tent-cascade/6496920171.html) and that's almost a grand off retail, where the owner has only used it a handful of times too.

What I don't know is the correct rack systems. I do want access to throw my mtn bike on the tailgate with a pad if needed.

 

Almost all roof rack will work. All it is are 2-4 sets of 2 bolts and 1 plate/bracket that goes around the bars of the roof rack.

 

I can’t say yes or no but many on here say not to put LED’s in halogen housings. I’m using Sylvania silverstar ZXE’s they’re bright,white and have a nice cutoff.

 

Yeah, it's the heat issue from what I am gathering. Do you have a photo of the brightness in snowy conditions?

 

No I don’t,haven’t had much snow this year but they are bright, I even got them for my fog’s and also put them in my wifes Honda CRV.

LOL can I even go anywhere with the Kevlar stock tires? I slide in 4H on ice, but they do great in fresh coating of powder so far.

Cheaper alternative to other one's I assume? They look good!

 

Good in snow and mud,also quiet on the highway .
