He has them up in a couple Tacoma Facebook groups. He said they squeaked so Icon sent him new non squeaky leaf packs. They were best offer... I think last time they were up to $112.50 biding each other up

How do you figure? That camper is easily $30k+ new, flatbed conversion, and a $20k truck. Seems pretty reasonable to me and you don't have to wait (FWC is backed up like 5mo).

This has got to be a TW members truck. The snorkel is a dead giveaway since I'm pretty sure they aren't sold over the counter at o'reilly's. Seems like a scammer is using their pictures.

Minus $15k. Because 2012 and SAI. And with that amount of miles, it's at the ripe age of failure for the said system. :bananadead:

I like to wait for the buyers remorse sales.

    :notsure:
KBB for the truck $16,500 and I looked up the wrong camper last night for brand new 2020 $19,300 knocked off $5k for being 5years old so figured $14,300. Figured I could get em down another $800 to $30k . Then took a closer look tonight and saw it’s a Flat bed, so yeah it’s a 30k new camper. Recreational Vehicles depreciate pretty fast so it’s probably worth $22k-$25k so maybe $15k-$20k over priced. Economy is crashing, people are outta work so cash probably talks and I wouldn’t be interested in making their down payment on their house. Lol, just my opinion... you asked.

Except for the fact that Tacomas sell routinely for above KBB in the PNW without fail. KBB has been way offbase for years for our trucks (a good problem to have!). The camper holds its value pretty well especially as part of the overall build.

I think $50-55k for that rig is more than reasonable. I've seen some listed as high as $75k+. It's important to remember that the rig isn't just based on camper+truck alone. The flatbed cost needs to be factored in as well as the install cost, tax, shipping, etc. Not to mention how long you'd have to wait for FWC to actually build the thing (they are super backlogged right now)

If I had the space for it, I would consider that rig given that price especially compared to a sportsmobile or whatever. If you can score it for $30k, then do it and flip it because you can get way more.

I use kbb when im buying to low-ball, which imo should be closer to the true market value. Pnw Toyota tax is stupid, which is mostly supported by the stupids that are willing to over pay for them. If people stopped paying ridiculous prices, the market would correct itself.

Especially given the fact that the last 20yrs of tacomas are prone to the frames rotting away, which Toyota themselves acknowledges.

This is the only reason why I bought my truck new.

Insane they wanted 30k for a 2012 with 67k on it for before taxes title. Would not budge from 30k and it was gone 3 days later

    Hello All,
I am looking at updating my rear springs to go along with a 12" shock and relocation, talking to Eric at archive garage about which spring is going to be best for the extra travel... I have OME HD Leafs now and was was wondering what you all see as a fair price for them. I don't follow CL ads much and I see a number of you are very savvy at it all..

No issues at all with them been great to me so far just looking at a different style pack. Eric has advised these will work but some Deaver Expo 2 maybe better because the deavers are more staggered on the leafs.. whoever buys them should take them apart, paint, shim and soak them in fluid film...they are Old Man so they like to remind you they are doing work...

As a typical rule, I expect used parts to be at least half the cost of new. This is just a general rule and does not apply to EVERYTHING.

    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p123/Old_Man_Emu_Dakar_Leaf_Packs_(PAIR)_-_ONLY_LEAF_PACKS_for_2005__Toyota_Tacoma.html

How many miles have you put on them? I suspect people would be interested in your leaf pack in the $250 to $300 realm. You may be able to ask for more if you do the "restoration" actions listed above yourself. Keep in mind, the new buyer should also replace the bushings and U-bolts.

    @WrecklessAbandon or @msgs350 Any interest?

Thank you both! Very helpful. As always its less than I want but better than nothing..Not sure on the miles but mine have never had that "w" shape I have seen with others and are holding up well. Ya u-bolts (good time to do the flip kit) bushings and center pins will be needed.
