What's the difference between 05-11 and 12-14 floor mats? Looks like maybe the mat clips? I'd rather have black but if they don't fit, I guess gray it is.

 

I can't imagine anything is.. Maybe the hooks on the driver floor are different..? Pretty sure the shape and design are the same

 

Don't the 12+ weathertech mats have the retaining pins? where the earlier models do not.

 

The way they hook in. 2005-11 had hooks further forward. The 12+ have retaining locks closer to the chair
