How difficult is it to get an abandond vehicle title? My pops is looking for a cheap small truck like this...

Edit: Nvm, I just called DOL and they said that just because it was on the property he has no legal right to sell it as it is still in the previous owners name. He has to turn it into the authorities as an abandoned vehicle and a tow company has to impound it and sell it at auction.

Yeah at first when I saw it I thought it looked too good to be true since I have the same tires and stock alloy wheels. Anyway now time to peel of my derp and switch with him whenever he's free

Damn! If I was in the market for a Taco that would be the one (though I'd rather have dark green) but still!!

Looks stock too so the possibilities would be endless

^ Is that really that great of a deal? I bought my 08 Taco DCSB TRD OR w/ 86k miles for $17,800. That one is the older body style (and 4 years older), same mileage and only $900 cheaper... Am I missing something?

1st Gen are tried and true. I'm not saying the 2nd gens aren't all that, but there's no arguing the value retention of the 95-04 Tacomas... not a whole lot you can do about that

No doubt they have retained their value but I originally started looking at first gens when I was trying to find a truck to purchase. I was finding decent deals, priced around $11k-$13k, for 02-04 Double cabs with around 90-110k. That was back in Jan-Feb of this year.

Winter is just around the corner which makes the 4x4 vehicles more desirable. I wouldn't pay that much for one personally I guess he can ask whatever he wants though lol.

They're just harder to find in decent physical condition, not used in states that really salt their roads, a previous owner(s) who gave a shit about their rig and it's maintenance, and then of course the most important... one that isn't modded already so you can dump even more money into it :D
