    I think it has more to do with the fact that Scepter is made in Canada. Factor that in with how difficult it is to find Scepter cans in the US due to CARB, and the fact that "Overlanders" seem to be willing to spend a crap ton of money on things like plastic fuel cans and voila, $130 fuel cans.
