Set of 5 Falken Wildpeaks 285/70r17 C-load, virtually new w/780 miles. Removed from a new Gladiator to run 35s. $850. Pickup in Kirkland.

 

Whats the tread depth?

 

If someone would buy my 275/70r17 General ATXs id be all over these

 

Also I have snow chains for sale. Brand new. $50 located in Milton, Wa

 

Tires are literally new, no off road and not yet supercharged so nothing crazy. Baby driven for new engine break-in.

 

For real? Why?

Correct, as shown in the original pics with the C-load rating. Wildpeak C-loads are standard on the Gladiator Mojave.

Why don't you like siped? I have geloandar g003 mts and want to sipe them, terrible in the wet!

Who will sipe tires for me in the Tacoma area?

 

I'm not sure of this is true, but ive heard factory tires don't have as deep of tread as a standard tire. Those tires come with 18/32... so it seems to be true.

 

E loads actually have 19/32nds the c loads are like 14/32nd

 

i used to keep an eye on CL for gladiator(Falkens)/rubi(BFG) take-offs. $850 for 5 is a deal!

 

Bingo. Nothing to do with factory tires, other than OEMs choose lighter weight and better riding C-load tires.

 

I've had that confirmed to me by a service rep at a dealership. You can look at a brand new car and see the tires are not near what you get put on at a shop. But stil , not a bad deal here.

 

According to Falken C load is almost 4 lbs heavier than E load. Doesn't make sense to me.
