Clay bar time! I got some good stuff from griot's garage best stuff around . I restored my 83 22r yota that way

 

It doesn't necessarily fit like a made for the purpose mat but one option would be what I did. I picked up a 6x4 horse stall mat at Tractor Supply and cut it down to fit my 5ft bed. It takes some trimming to fit between the wheel wells and doesn't reach all the way to the sides behind them but it works pretty well to get a nice flat surface in the bed where stuff doesn't slide around near as much. Bonus for me is the extra weight it adds to smooth out my HD Dakar springs.

 

How much is your time worth to you? A cutting compound on a medium/heavy pad with a DA polisher will easily get rid of swirl marks. It's the same method I take out trail pinstriping. I like using Menzerna Fast Gloss 400 because it's a cutting and polishing compound in one.

Still there, but got a better look at it this morning. Has a dent a couple inches long near the leading edge. He must've gotten a new one and is ditching the old one.

 

Asking my loyal craigslist peeps to look out for a good front/engine skid (2nd gen) and some better than stock bump stops and possibly a u bolt flip kit? Tired of backbreaking bottom outs and I also tore up my stock skid last time I "went offroad"
