Thinking about selling the Taco to get a real truck. Thoughts?

 

Anyone interested in some CBI bed bars?
Normal used condition. Some scratches and a light rust patch that could be cleaned and recoated.

I need information on where that $165k in upgrades went. It’s a nice truck with a lot of work, but DAYUM!

 

I think some of that 165k might have gone up his nose

 

If you scroll through the pictures the last 13 pages lists all the parts and labor

 

That list is PADDED. 35 hours to build and install rock sliders?

 

If someone had never built a set I could see it taking that long. Or maybe they used this truck to build the Jig so they could later mass produce them. Either way there are a couple big labor question marks.

 

They also list the tooling for the fenders as a cost. I couldn't imagine that truck has somebody's first welding project as the 35 hour sliders, which I believe it said are aluminum as well

I want to know how the hell it can get to 140mph. With 34’s and 4.88’s I’m screaming at 90 at around 5k RPM.

I'll come grab it and that ADS suspension.... Unless somebody needs it as a bike carrier, I'll take it and convert it to a hitch mount tire carrier, and when my bumper comes in I'll pass it along to someone else for free
