The one for .223 sold, but I still have one for 9mm PCCs - scorpions, MP5s, AR-9, etc. Mint condition, maybe 100 rounds through it.

I assume you're busting balls... but having seen this bumper in person, it's pretty sweet. Very similar to the Stingray bumper (my favorite 2nd gen bumper). I'd jump on this if I had a 2nd gen.

A friend of mine was on that show, found some Chinese finger cuffs in a demo building, I can't remember what happened, but was a definite wtf moment seeing him on there.

Understood. With everything being 4x expensive during covid, I'm definitely feeling it.

No fault to the seller, base price on those is $7,500, plus all the extras, the fact the base price is $7,500 though, wtffffffff

Just scored a lightly used factory tonneau for $300. Been looking for weeks.

Having built a wedge camper last year I can say the $7.5k GFC charges is a pretty damn good deal considering how much work goes into them. Sure they have production fixtures and buy in bulk but I spent about $4k in materials and an entire summer working on mine. I also bought all my materials before/right at the beginning of all the craziness and didn’t pay the COVID tax.

If I hadn’t gotten laid off in August and worked on it full time for a month I’d probably still be building it.

Uh... yeah, that. That's how production works, you save by mass production. A one-time build should always cost more. The fact that building your own cost the same is VERY telling.

Edit: and it's irrelevant what it costs... a canopy with a built in tent is not worth $7500, even if it costs $10,000 to build it... but of course, that's just my opinion.

Yeah. I’m familiar. I work in R&D and production. My point is there is a lot to them.

And mine cost half as much in just materials. Not like I had to cut people paychecks on top of that AND turn a profit to keep the business running.

You also have to factor in recouping design and development costs. That’s a huge expense on the front end of any product.
