I have no experience with them but have been reading that folks are selling their Taco for higher or close to the amount they bought it for. Not sure about now but within the last year they have been getting crazy offers. Definitely give it a shot. Vroom.com is another site to try too. I believe you just plug in your info, vehicle info, and they'll give you a quote.

Heard lots of bad stories about Carvana on the purchase side, all title and registration issues from a couple friends in different states. I’d stay away from them.

Thanks. Might end up going this route. Prolly getting camper sooner than originally expected, so I started ordering stuff I need last week to get the truck ready.

No problem. I was looking for a used one, but when the new one was that cheap, the used prices didn't seem so great. Worth noting the smell when these are brand new is kinda bad. Lasted weeks sealed up inside my canopy.

Thanks for the warning, but the smell shouldn't be an issue. My truck parks outside, and it's a slide in camper, so it will literally just be sitting on top of it. The Habitat is gone and I'm replacing with a Scout Yoho slide in.

Yeah, I saw that one too, but at 10mpg and 200 miles round trip, I might as well buy brand new local, haha. Thanks though!

I will always remember leaving my harbor freight rubber wheel chocks in my garage overnight when I first bought them... 12 hours in garage, a week for the smell to go away.

I've been getting most OEM stuff online from TRDshop.com and the like. I've found a few out of state dealers that offer substantially discounted prices with no tax, often with coupon codes for free shipping etc. Beats a lot of the craigslist+covid tax.

If you don't need it now, might be worth a look.

There are dealers (locally) that will likely match any price you get online (from a credible toyota dealership) within a reason (print out invoice that shows all shipping and tax included).

Purchased a TRD PRO skid plate, and tail lights using this method.

Great point and I agree. Definitely worth a shot and supports your local folks.

I tried this myself also and was only successful with a few items (door sill protectors comes to mind). They still wanted to charge me $400 for the electronic tailgate lock part only, for example, when I could get the same OEM part without tax and free shipping for $160. Seemed crazy. But it's the same story with dealer markup variability i suppose--some do it, some don't, only a few will price match.

Front and Rear Locked, 35’s, Chevy 63” swap, Fox Suspension and a bunch of other shit too long to list.
If your looking for something cheap to throw in under your camper maybe a horse stall mat could be an option. 4’x6’ runs about $50 at Tractor Supply.
