Might be worth it. I got lucky and found one for $300 someone posted here. Had to make a 3 hour roundtrip drive but very worth it.

Oregon Dunes is pretty awesome, forget the Lexus, drive the Taco and make a weekend of it. It's an area worth checking out.

Lol a few years back I bought a running and driving Range Rover Classic(still have it) for $2000 which is now unheard of and at the time basically 'parts car money', especally considering the fact it had a few nice mods and new Wildpeaks. Problem was I lived in Bellingham and he lived in Bremerton, I checked it out and made an offer on my way home from visiting friends in Portland. He accepted but I couldn't take it then as I was driving my Taco and only had me along, part of the deal we made was that I'd take the bus from Bellingham to SeaTac, he'd show up in departures, we'd do cash for keys and title, I'd drive the Rover home and he'd take the bus home.

So, here I was in a new-to-me 30 year old decrepit Range Rover driving home in the dark. He had mentioned that something was a little fucky with the power brake system, but all was well till about 20 miles from my exit. Brake light comes on. At that point I just figured I'd power through with no brakes, but as Range Rovers have the pump/accumulator type brakes instead of just no power assist you have only one backup piston in only the front brakes. So took two feet on the brake to slowwwwwly stop.

Somehow made it home in one piece(and bumped the front of the garage in doing so). I still think about what the hell could've happened that night if i had an emergency situation.
