Hearing the same from all the guys I know in the business. Even cars that were previously hard sales are now easy cause if you don't buy it the next guy on the lot will.

 

My buddy just ordered a 2021, built to how he wanted it. Seems if you have some patience and don't mind the wait you can save all that extra markup.

I feel like $32k for a 24 year old dodge does reflect the 1400 hrs of work. Otherwise that truck would be worth pennies. Had a buddy in college pick one of those up (exact same year) back in 2005 for like $6k

you’re paying for the labor and the truck is getting thrown in for free

 

I've vowed to never touch anything Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge..... such trash... I'm sure I'll get flak for it, but there's little you can say to change my mind... it just sucks because they used to be good.... now the only "good" thing about them is the Cummin's diesel

 

meh I'm in the same boat. My buddy's ram was a POS. It ate u joints and transmissions nonstop. He showed it to me and 2 other buddies each separately asking our advice before he bought it and all 3 of us told him not to buy it hahaha.

 

If the TRX wasn't $100k+ I'd be all over it

People finance that shit? I figured people with the type of credit and income to buy a 32 year old $300k rig would be a little smarter with their money and pay cash.

 

That’s what the first salesman tried to do with me when I just got my 21 OR. The only reason I was there in the first place was because of an email from them claiming that they wanted to buy my 05 that they sold me 2 years ago. I talked to a new salesperson while he stepped away and the script completely flipped when I said I’d buy the 21 today but not not from that guy.
