Anyone have a set of the side bed cargo rails laying around? I cut mine up a little for my bakflip install, and now that I'm going with a canopy there's a little too much flex in them. Not sure if second gen rails are the same as third? I have a short bed. Thanks in advance.

Its weird how quickly markets for items flip sometimes. One minute you cant find anything then next you list something for a fair price and it sits. Its like that tent I have for sale. Its almost 50% off new and I get crickets

 

The downside to keeping your old wheels and tires is having to store them... my OEM wheels have been sitting in the backyard for the last year. I can't even give them away but feel bad trashing them.

 

What you got hiding in the back yard for free?

If they are in half decent shape you could have them powder coated for less than new wheels

 

I have new wheels already, it's not like my truck has been sitting on blocks for the last year. I got new wheels to get the correct backspacing to run bigger tires without spacers.

All I was trying to get at in my first post is wheels/tires are a pain in the ass to store when you have to sit on them.

 

Try a chair. Way more comfortable to sit on.

 

Find a metal recycler near you. Can get ~$30 for wheels.

I take all my old car parts from wheels, exhaust, control arms, skids, etc to a local metal recycler (Calbag Metals). Beats throwing it in the trash and I get a little $$ to spend on illicit substances

I went to one with my father inlaw and there was a huge line of interesting people. We were probably going to be waiting for over an hour to make about $8
